I’m Bernard Georges, a student, a soldier, and an aspiring actor, voice actor & model from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I’m currently a student at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), seeking a Bachelor’s in “Multimedia Studies: Film, Video & New Media” as a result of one my aspirations, becoming an animator. I consider myself a bundle of creativity as I love to expand my horizons in terms of what I can branch off to in the creative field. I aspire to be a successful model because I adore the complexity of it all and the dedication it takes to really stand out in the field. But one of the main reasons I chose modelling is because of the boost in confidence that comes with it. When you see yourself staring back at you, captured in a way that you’ve never viewed yourself before it really introduces you to another world of reassurance that in this world–the sky is the limit. I believe that confidence is the key to really reaching my full potential as not only a model, but also an animator and a voice actor. I believe my aspirations all tie into one another, in which they build upon each other in a way. For example, when I pose, I picture a CGI rig that I can pose to my liking and vice versa when I’m sketching an outline, I picture myself conducting the movements. Voice acting is it’s own thing, but the way a model’s body language or facial expressions are able to convey a message to the audience, same with characters in animation, is how I’m able to shape my voice to match the character’s energy whom I may be voicing. As a result, each one aids me to be better in the other.
